This is the second ring light in my studio! (The first one clips to my drafting table!) I find working in my studio sometimes a little difficult by the normal overhead lighting and the little bit of natural light that comes through the window. Excitingly, I found so many more benefits than just lighting with this ring light.
With multiple functions that change the brightness and warmth of the light either manually or remotely, this piece of equipment has the added bonuses of interchangeable, snap-on light filters and comes with a camera mount and a phone mount that sets the device in the center of the ring light, and a positional neck joint enabling the light to be tilted and adjusted. Record video or take pictures remotely with the Bluetooth shutter remote included in this set and gain extra functions and brightness from the ring light by using the remote control also included in this set.
The tripod extends to around 6 ft tall, bringing the full height of the light to around 8 ft with the ring light standing straight up. Unfortunately, this set comes with a carrying case for the light only, leaving the accessories and the tripod needing some sort of containment after purchase. This was definitely a great investment that opens up many different avenues for creating, sharing, and displaying my artwork.
