Other sharpeners do not compare to this gorgeously handcrafted, heavy-duty brass pencil sharpener in performance or durability! The blades are sharp and interchangeable with the use of a small Philip’s head screwdriver, for blade replacement and continued use of the product. This sharpener left the wood of my pencil smooth and clean after my last, lesser quality, generic brand sharpener chewed it up in its failed attempts to sharpen it (blades weren’t interchangeable on my old one!). The sharpener came well packaged with the artist’s card and a reorder number. Shipping was incredibly fast. I placed my order on April 28, 2020, and received the item on May 1, 2020, six days before the earliest posted delivery date from Amazon. I will definitely be ordering more for back-ups, as I tend to lose (and periodically, find) my sharpeners regularly.
